This pleasant route in the north-west of the region runs along the old railway line that used to link Murcia (the capital of the huerta or agricultural area) with Caravaca de la Cruz (the capital of the uplands) and is suitable for both walking and cycling. Along the way you can see viaducts, railway halts and old stations dating back to the 1930's
