Every summer, Lorca lives and breathes the arts with its annual Espirelia festival, which fills the city with music, film and exhibitions. Amongst the various concert venues, the Fortress of the Sun holds pride of place; a stunning setting in which to enjoy music by your favourite artists in the open air. In summer, it is also possible to visit this mediaeval fortress at night.
