Visit one of the best preserved examples of military defensive construction on the Cartagena coastline is the Fuerte de Navidad (Christmas Fort). A fortress looking out to sea, which is now an Interpretation Centre where you can discover the secrets of military defensive architecture. Inside, you will be able to find out how the coast was protected against attacks from the sea.
