Are you interested in avant-garde art? In Mula, the Casa Pintado or Painted House is the home of the foundation of the same name and the Cristobal Gabarron museum. The building itself is a palatial home from 1770 with three storeys and a wine cellar. The facade, with its sgraffito decoration in popular designs, is particularly interesting. The museum houses a retrospective exhibition of works by Gabarron, the artist behind the 'Twelve European Muses" sculpture that graces the exterior of the European Parliament in Brussels. Mula offers numerous other cultural and artistic attractions, including its new audio-guide service that will help you discover the town's heritage. The Casa del Artesano (Craft Centre) is another must.
